Copyrights and Price Policy

All books published by Layiha Press are released as open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license allows works to be freely shared and used for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given. The licensing information for each publication is clearly provided alongside the work.

Layiha is a non-profit press; no sales revenue is generated from the works it publishes. However, in order to ensure the sustainability of open access publishing, authors are asked to contribute a reasonable Book Processing Charge (BPC):

For books: 5,000 ₺ (150 USD)

For book chapters: 2,500 ₺ (75 USD)

The fee, to be transferred to the publisher association’s account, covers the following services:

• Editorial process and academic evaluation

• Peer review

• Typesetting, layout, and cover design

• Publication in open access formats (PDF, ePub, HTML)

• DOI assignment and permanent archiving

• Distribution in national and international catalogues and indexes

The collected fees are distributed among editors, reviewers, typesetters, and the publishing infrastructure that contribute to the publication process. In this way, the academic and technical staff involved are supported, while ensuring the sustainability of open access publishing. Publication decisions are made solely on the basis of academic quality; fees are requested only after the work has been accepted for review by the editorial board, and since the final decision will be made following peer review, payment does not guarantee publication.

Our policy is in line with the principles of OAPEN, DOAB, COPE, and SPARC, prioritizing transparency, accessibility, and academic contribution.
