About the Press

Layiha Press is a peer-reviewed publisher dedicated to producing original, high-quality, and accessible academic works in the field of law. Taking its name from the word layiha, which means “draft” or “bill,” our publishing house believes that every work begins with an intention, and every intention carries the hope of being realized. Therefore, each publication is not merely a text put into writing; it is a vessel for knowledge, ideas, and proposals that can make a tangible impact on life.

Layiha encourages the publication of scholarly works that contribute to the legal community. Original works being published for the first time are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process. Postgraduate theses, reports, and second editions of previously published but revised works undergo single-blind peer review to ensure academic scrutiny. In this way, both originality and scholarly credibility are maintained.

Our publishing house embraces the principle of open access, believing that everyone should be able to freely access the knowledge produced. This approach is grounded not only in academic transparency but also in the commitment to contributing to public knowledge.

Layiha Press offers an open platform for legal professionals, researchers, and students. Every work is a layiha—it begins with intention, matures through effort, and comes to life through publication.
